Wherever you go in New England, welcome centers provide visitor information from traffic news to what to see and do. Most are open only in summer but some are open year-round.

  • Danbury: I-84 eastbound, Exit 2
  • Darien: I-95 northbound between exits 11 and 13, year-round
  • Greenwich: Merritt Parkway northbound between exits 27 and 26, seasonal (opens Dec. 2013)
  • North Stonington: On I-95 southbound between exits 92 and 91; open 24 hours, year-round
  • Westbrook: On I-95 northbound between exits 65 and 66
  • West Willington: On I-84 westbound, between exits 70 and 69; open 24 hours, year-round
